The Superlock is a staple in our range of Gatemaster products. A truly versatile product, its 70mm lock case means that it is one of the slimmest locks on the market. This isn’t just a benefit in terms of the sleek look, but it means the Superlocks can be installed on most standard types of metal gates, whether it is mesh or bar, the Superlock will fit in the gaps.
The Superlock’s flexibility is further enhanced by the fact that if you change your mind last minute and go for a push button code lock or handle and key operated latch instead, they are all easy to install and are installed in exactly the same way. All you need to do is drill 2 holes for fixing bolts and one for the latch bolt, then simply fit the lock through the gate frame.
Although it is a bolt-on lock designed for metal gates, it is also a popular choice for composite gates thanks to the rectangular shape. As well as this, in addition to its compatibility with a number of gates and products in general, the Superlock offers extreme durability, due to not only its stainless-steel exterior, but its stainless-steel interior. The manufacturing process of the Superlock not only means that it can withstand the harshest of outdoor conditions but is also capable of handling consistent use.
The Superlatch from Gatemaster is the ideal product for a project that involves several different types of gates, whether they be metal, wooden, or even composite, thanks to its surface-fixed installation.
This lock is designed with a mechanical combination keypad on the outside and a latch on the inside that features an integrated shroud surrounding it. This particular mechanism was designed to make it easier for warehouse workers to exit mesh partition gates.
Compared to the Superlock, the Superlatch requires more gate preparation pre-installation, but its ability to adapt to a number of types of gates makes this extra preparation worth the time and effort.
So, if you need locks for metal, wooden and composite gates, the Superlatch could be a beneficial lock to have on site.
If you’re looking for a Gate Lock that is specifically designed for wooden gates, Gatemaster has you covered.
Although the Superlatch can be installed on other types of gates, when using it on a wooden gate, it offers a secure access in the form of a keypad lock but has an easy exit with the latch on the inside. The Superlatch is particularly suitable for domestic projects such as garden gates and side gates.
Made from stainless steel and featuring a marine grade keypad, the Superlatch is perfect for exterior use, due to its weather and corrosion resistant properties. And there is no need to worry about batteries or wiring, as the mechanical keypad allows you to install it wherever you want.
This product in the Gatemaster range offers the exact same qualities and benefits as the original Superlock, but includes the surface-fixed installation of the Superlatch. It uses the same keypad as the bolt-on Superlock (BDG/BDGS) but is fixed to a bracket allowing you to install it on solid wooden gates.
Just like the other products in the Gatemaster range, the Surface Fixed Superlock features stainless steel interior and exterior, and the weather and corrosion resistant properties that make it ideal for even the harshest of outdoor conditions.
This lock gives you the option of having a push button code lock on both sides (BDGW) if you want higher level of security or the gate is in an area where this is required. If you’d prefer a single-sided version, the BDGSW has a keypad on one side and a thumb turn on the other side for a code-free exit. The single-sided option is perfect for solid wooden garden gates, as it eliminates the need to put in the code again on exit. You can also find left-handed versions of both the BDGW and the BDGSW Surface Fixed Superlock.
The Locking Bolt from Gatemaster is the ideal choice for classic timber gates, a simple surface-fixed lock with four fixings bolts, this lock is key operated and simple to install. Just bolt it on with the four fixing bolts provided and drill a hole for the cylinder.
This Locking Bolt differs from others in the range as it is operated with a key only, so will require locking and unlocking for exit and entry. This Locking Bolt is designed for those that are looking for a simple solution for gate security. We offer the Gatemaster Locking Bolt in variations that are suitable for a number of gate thicknesses, one for 24mm and one for up to 60mm.
No matter what level of security or operational method you’re looking for to use in your next project, Gatemaster has a range that will accommodate for any specific want or need in domestic, commercial or even industrial settings. You can find out more about the full Gatemaster range here.
