Excellent product!
Dead easy to fit, regardless of no instructions, but as others have said, if you do a bit of googling, you can see which way round it goes and some hints for fitting. I wanted it to restrict the door past 90 degrees. By the time I'd fitted it, it restricts at around 120 / 130 degrees so I'm happy with that. I fitted it close to the jamb on a wooden block behind the frame and the rail part was dead easy to fit after that. I positioned it from inside with the door closed. It is a very solid, heavy duty item and the friction bolt is easily adjusted with an adjustable spanner. It was fitted to an outhouse, outward opening hardwood door over 50kg in weight and it slows the opening and restricts perfectly. I'm a pretty competent DIYer and it took me about 20 min to fit, including adding the wooden block inside the frame. Very happy with the result indeed, it matches the rest of the black door furniture perfectly.

Hmm
Needs instructions and you should give an option of screws.

Great sturdy door limiter and very easy to fit
Excellent door limiter. Used on a barn style internal door to stop it hitting kitchen units. Looks great with the iron furnishings already on the door. Easy to fit.

Good afternoon, This will hold the door open at the set desired angle as it will require a bit of force to close the door, however it is not designed as a hold open device so we would not recommend using it for solely that purpose. It is designed to reduce risk of damage when the door is forcibly thrown open or the wind catches it. I hope this helps. Take care
